I watch Eurovision every year because it’s fun as hell. This year was special though, because this song really captivated me. It’s the combination of traditional Eastern European vocals and varied dance beats that got me. It’s all about calling a traditional god named Shum for Spring to arrive. I love learning about pagan traditions and I think it is awesome as hell that this song is getting the attention it deserves. I will be looking out for this band in the future because I have a feeling that they are going to do well in ‘alternative’ circles.
